STAYING CONNECTED: THE TUFTS GORDON INSTITUTE COMMUNITY

Tufts Gordon Institute offers many ways to stay in touch with other alumni, from seminars and lectures to associations and volunteer opportunities. Here are some great ways to network and enrich your life as a Tufts Gordon Institute graduate.

Gordon Institute Seminars and Lecture Series

Alumni are welcome to participate in seminars, lectures and business plan competitions hosted by both the M.S. in Engineering Management and Entrepreneurial Leadership programs.  Recent events included the inaugural lecture of our new seminar series "Advancing the Power of Innovation", cosponsored with the Hitachi Center for Technology and International Affairs at The Fletcher School, featuring Nicholas Negroponte, founder of the MIT Media Lab and chairman of the One Laptop per Child non-profit association; the Lyon & Bendheim Lecture, featuring Tufts alum Laura Lang, CEO of Digitas; and the Annual 110K and Business Plan Competition sponsored by the Entrepreneurial Leadership Program. Tufts Gordon Institute’s MSEM Alumni Association

Network with other MSEM alumni, form partnerships and have a place to discuss questions on topics ranging from professional challenges to career development. To join or obtain more information, send email to tgi-alumni@tufts.edu.

Tufts University Alumni Association

As a graduate of Tufts University, you are also a member of the Tufts University Alumni Association (TUAA), a family of more than 80,000 graduates from each of Tufts' eight schools. There are a wide range of groups, organizations and offices that promote and support your continuing involvement in the Tufts community. Visit http://www.tufts.edu/alumni/ for more information.

Volunteer Opportunities

  • Join our TGI Alumni Ambassador Program and share your MSEM experience with prospective students by serving as an alumni panelist at Information Sessions, contacting prospective students and facilitating outreach within your organization.  For more information, contact Nancy Buczko at nancy.buczko@tufts.edu or at (617) 627-3117.

  • Provide opportunities for M.S. in Engineering Management students to conduct individual projects or team practicum projects at your company – a win-win for both the students and the sponsoring organizations.  For more information, contact Mary Viola, MSEM Director at mary.viola@tufts.edu or at (617) 627-4622.
